Texas CAD Websites

To locate the owner of the Real property on which a project is located, either for TDLR project registration or inspection request purposes, you may search the Central Appraisal District (CAD) record by county to locate the Property ID number. Searching the appraisal district property records by physical street address has been the most successful option for us.

The owner information required during project registration or when performing project updates, as well as on various forms, must match the owner information listed in the Central Appraisal District record.

During project registration or requesting project updates, you may be required to provide what is called a CAD document. This is simply the property details page with the CAD property account number, or ID, and ownership information. You will see a print icon or prompt to print the document to PDF format at the top of the web page. Please do this and save this document locally to your computer.

We are thankful to the Texas Association of Appraisal Districts for providing this information.
