Texas Access is a team of Registered Accessibility Specialists who are licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to conduct plan reviews and inspections, in order to verify compliance with provisions of the Texas Architectural Barriers Act (TABA) and are not employed by that agency regardless of any statements made on this site that may be mistaken by the user to indicate otherwise. Texas Access and its members are not employees or enforcement agents.

Copyright and Use Policy

Copyright is defined as the exclusive right of a creator to reproduce, prepare derivative works, distribute, perform, display, sell, lend or rent their creations. For the purposes of understanding the applicability of this exclusive right as it applies to the images and content created by Texas Access, we have re-stated the definition as follows:

  1. The user may use the copyrighted images or content in a single application, free of copyright infringement. A "single application" is defined as a single publication or website, and for a specific use. The use of an image or content is NOT unlimited.
  2. The user may alter the copyrighted images or content for which the single-use is intended, such as resizing an image or improving the resolution for better printability or readability.
  3. The user may not reproduce any copyrighted images or content for offering to other parties, such as for use on a website, or printed or electronic publications, or for any other use not specifically mentioned herein.
  4. The user of any images or content must credit Texas Access as the owner of such content, except in the event of 3rd party images or content.

Liability

In no event shall Texas Access be liable for any damages whatsoever, and in particular Texas Access shall not be liable for special, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, or damages for lost profits, or loss of revenue, arising out of or related to this Web Site or the information contained in it, whether such damages arise in contract, negligence, tort, under statute, in equity, at law or otherwise. Texas Access shall not be responsible for any errors or omissions contained on this Website and reserves the right to make changes without notice.
