Plan Review and Inspection Fee Fee Payment With Any Major Credit Card
You are not required to have a PayPal account to use a credit card.

Simply click on the fee menu bar under the applicable construction cost range for your project and select the desired fees. Then enter the TABS Number (or Project Name if the project hasn't been registered) in the box below the fee amount. Click on the Add to Cart button and then make the payment. We will receive immediate notification that the fee has been paid and will apply it to the project.

Plan Review Fee: 
The plan review fee amount includes the cost of establishing the project file, receiving the construction documents and the plan review fee, reviewing the submittal for completeness, scheduling and performing the plan review of drawings and details and noting any deficiencies, issuing the plan review report, consultation with the client (if necessary) about any issues in the report and reporting the plan review results to the TDLR - TABS system and uploading the construction documents. All other expenses are included.

Inspection Fee:
The inspection fee amount includes receiving the TDLR Request for Inspection Form (RFI) and the inspection fee amount, reviewing for completeness of the request and accuracy of the information, scheduling and performing one (1) onsite inspection, consultation with the client (if necessary) about any violations discovered, preparing and issuing the inspection report, issuing an approval letter, reporting the inspection results to the TDLR through the TABS system and uploading the Inspection results and RFI form. All other expenses are included.

IMPORTANT: For inspections, we are currently only serving the Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston/Galveston areas and the I-45 corridor. If the project is outside of these areas, please call us to check availability before including or paying the inspection fee! Please see the TDLR Inspections (TAS) page for more information.

State Filing Fee ($175):
This is the amount charged by the TDLR to register a project in the Texas Architectural Barriers online System (TABS) to get a project registration number.
Do not select this fee if your project has already been registered with the TDLR/TABS system.

Convenience Fee 'CF': ($50):
This is the amount that we charge to register a project with the TDLR and utilize our credit card for the State Filing Fee. If you want us to register the project for you, then you must select the fee amount that includes the State Filing Fee and the 'CF' fee.
Do not select this fee if your project has already been registered with the TDLR/TABS system.

A PayPal Transaction Recovery Fee is added to the amount to recover what PayPal charges us for the transaction. (This amount is "X"+3.49% + $0.49).

Some credit cardholders, such as those working for government agencies, have restrictions, including those preventing transactions using PayPal, so check with the cardholder first (i.e., the purchasing agent).
