Please note that only the plan review fee must be paid at the time of project submittal.

Pay With Any Major Credit Card Using PayPal
You are not required to have a PayPal account to use a credit card.

Simply click on the fee menu bar under the applicable construction cost range for your project and select the desired fees. Then enter the TABS Number (or Project Name if the project hasn't been registered) in the box below the fee amount. Click on the Add to Cart button and then make the payment. We will receive immediate notification that the fee has paid and will apply it to the project.

Please try to avoid making a mistake in selecting the correct fees!
Be sure to include the *$175 state filing fee and the *$50 Convenience Fee if you want us to register your project and pay the state filing fee. *DO NOT PAY THESE TWO FEES IF YOUR PROJECT HAS ALREADY BEEN REGISTERED AND HAS A TABS NUMBER. Please make sure the project has not already been registered with the TDLR. Search the TDLR's Architectural Barriers Projects Database.

If you overpay the fees we may not issue a refund, so don't make a mistake. If you are unsure what to do, stop, and call us at (800) 880-6986.

A PayPal Transaction Recovery Fee is added to the amount to recover what PayPal charges us for the transaction. (This amount is "X"+3.49% + $0.49).

A $50 Convenience Fee ("CF") is included in the fee amounts that include the state project filing fee if you want us to register the project and pay the state project filing fee for you.

Some credit cardholders, such as those working for government agencies, do have restrictions, including those that prevent transactions using PayPal, so check with the cardholder first (i.e. purchasing agent).

Refund Policy: Effective October 11, 2019, if you pay for fees utilizing PayPal and request a refund, the refunded amount will not include the fees PayPal charges us to process the initial transaction. PayPal has served notice that on the effective date if a transaction is refunded to the customer they will not refund the transaction fee unless the refund is a result of a duplicate transaction, or a voided, or disputed transaction. The transaction fee PayPal charges is 3.49% + $0.49.
